How do I know how much landscape rock I need?
Measure your length and width of each section you are covering individually.
If you are using a landscape product that is 1″ or smaller in size you take your
Length x Width =
Then you divide that total by 120 and this will tell you how much
landscape product you need for every 2″ of depth.
20 ft length by 15 ft wide = 300 sq ft divided by 120 = 2.5 yrds of landscape rock
If your product is 2-4″ in size for the same area you divide by 80.
20 ft length by 15 ft wide = 300 sq ft divided by 80 = 3.75 yrds of landscape rock
